The B767 is not the only project I am working on so progress is slower than what you would expect if it it was.
There’s decent progress on the flight deck as shown below. Things will speed up as I fulfill my commitments to the MD-11 and E-Jets, while continuing to do some minor work on the A320 which is basically completed(until FlightGear moves to gltf and PBR)
Some work done on the cockpit, little tweaks needed for things such as RMI and speed indicator needles, adding screws, etc.
It’s been a while since I updated here, so here’s the situation. The development of the FG767 was slowed down to help the IDG A320 with a rework of their external mesh, a pragmatic decision since they had a very mature project, a dedicated team with ongoing development in both systems an FDM area. This is certainly a project to keep an eye on. Refer to the FlightGear forums for further information.
The bulk of my work for IDG is wrapping up so I will be able to give more time to the FG767 which should also move a lot quicker(if health allows)
tldr: FG767 still alive.
Final fuselage/wing mesh cleanup and check before working on details such as windshield, air intakes, APU and gear doors. To have some change, modeled the windshield wipers, pitot tubes and made corrections/additions to the nose gear, started main gear.
Good progress on the overhead 3D model while the exterior is being worked at continously. Stay tuned.
Finally had some time to work on the engine more, almost done. I just need to model what gets shown when the reverser door moves back.
